Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of heichub.com and its tools (the "Service"), operated by HEICHub ("we", "us", or "our"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. The Service

HEICHub provides free, browser-based tools that convert image files (such as HEIC to PNG). All conversion runs locally in your browser; we do not receive or store the files you convert. The Service is provided free of charge and is supported by advertising.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement.

3. License to use the Service

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service for your personal or internal business purposes.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or to process content you do not have the right to process;
  • Upload or convert content that infringes intellectual property rights, is illegal, or violates the rights of others;
  • Attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or its infrastructure;
  • Use automated means to access the Service in a way that harms or places an unreasonable load on it;
  • Remove, obscure, or interfere with any advertising or notices on the Service.

5. Your files and content

You retain all rights to the files you convert. Because conversion happens entirely on your device, we never take ownership of, access, or store your files. You are solely responsible for the content you choose to process and for keeping your own backups.

6. Intellectual property

The Service, including its design, text, graphics, logos, and software (excluding your files and third-party components under their own licenses), is owned by HEICHub and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. The "HEICHub" name and branding may not be used without our prior written permission.

7. Third-party services and links

The Service may display advertising and may link to third-party websites or services that we do not control. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of any third parties. Your use of third-party services is at your own risk and subject to their terms.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that conversions will meet your requirements.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, HEICHub shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of (or inability to use) the Service. Always keep backups of your original files.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless HEICHub from any claims, damages, or expenses arising out of your misuse of the Service or your violation of these Terms.

11. Changes to the Service and Terms

We may modify or discontinue the Service, in whole or in part, at any time. We may also update these Terms from time to time; the "Last updated" date will reflect the latest version. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the Service.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the jurisdiction in which the Service operator is established, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes shall be subject to the competent courts of that jurisdiction.
